A Strat can’t twang quite like a Tele, but a Tele can’t do that quacky 2&4 Strat thing.

So, for me, the clear choice is a Tele.

If, you actually like that nasally Strat quack, you could always quackify a Tele… like my latest Partscaster, pictured below

I ended up getting a new Player Tele, my first telecaster. Thanks everyone for all the tips. Any recommendations for my first song to work on for that classic Tele sound? I’m still relatively inexperienced on guitar overall so something in the easier end!

Edited to add:. How about some CCR tunes? They arent really a Tele band but are kinda easy to learn.
