Hi everybody! Like most new folks on the forum, I've been lurking for many, many years and finally signed up. For the past twelve years I've owned several telecasters and eventually build a franken-tele to my personalized specs. My go-to amp is a Victoria Vicky-Verb for home use and for recording. Although I don't use a pedal-board, sometimes I'll plug into my Beano Boost> Dunlop volume pedal for those times when the amp volume is set past noon to keep the sound a little more tight, but mostly just directly into the amp. My go-to telecaster, actually franken-tele, consists of an extra-light swamp ash body purchased quite a few years ago from Warmoth, Fender USA neck with the newer neck profile, Mastery bridge, and SD Antiquity pickups, set up with 10-52 GHS rollerwound strings tuned a 1/2 step down. The next most-played tele is set up for jazz using a custom set of GHS rollerwound strings (12, 15, 19, 30, 40, 52). I'm also a proud US Army veteran, patriot, and currently chairman of a veteran-advocacy ERG.
