I like it, looks like swamp ash hiding under that sparkle finish. Congrats.

They get the fret dots looking pretty legit. I had a hard time faking aged clay on my necks. Ended up dabbing them with colortone wood stain and applying a coat of tru oil over them with a q tip. Seems to be holding up.

Like it. Great colour but I’d prefer it slightly less reliced. But still great!

Congratulations! Thing about a relic is I think you appreciate it even more when you get your hands on it.

I predict you're going to love her even more after your first date.

    Very Nice!

For future reference, just drag and drop a pic into your post box. I took these pics from your links and did just that.

    Thankyou!!

Got the tele for a couple of days now and I really really dig it. Out of 7 teles its my only rosewood board Tele. It really makes a difference to me . Guitar looks , plays like you would expect a Custom Shop guitar to play. The neck (i'll get more pics up) is a perfect inbetween .85- .95 size. C shape. Highly flamed. Its not super light at 7.3 pounds. BUT the tone is definitely fuller and rounder then my other teles. Sounds amazing with some crunch......instant Led Zepplin! Clean I actually prefer the inbetween tones. The bridge is not spanky at all. But not in a bad way. Its just different for my ears . I actually have to change the Presence and tone setting when I use this guitar. Again not in a bad way......why have 7 guitars that all sound the same? Its not muted or woofy in anyway. It just lends itself more to gain then spank if that makes sense? Joe Bonnamassa would LOVE this tele. Danny Gatton not so much if that makes sense? The pick ups are Fender Custom shop . Time will tell if I replace the bridge pick up. No immediate plans to.
This just may be my "Rockin" Tele. Just been a week but thats my first impression. Most important thing to me in any guitar is feel and play ability and this guitar has it in spades. The paint does not appear thick enough to be a real tone factor . And it sustains! It has threaded saddles. I never cared for those (strings get hung up IMO) and will be replacing them with a nice compensated brass set shortly. See if that makes a difference. Otherwise I'm rockin it!!
