I got mine 2018 too!!! That Black Friday sale was too good not too. Been a Strat dude for ages got the Tele to do something different. It really has grown on me. It’s my cheapest guitar out of the 3 I own but honestly my favorite right now. You got a picture of yours!?

Walked into GC fully expecting to walk out with a White Baja.
Ended up with an Elite Series. By and large has replaced my LP, Heritage 555 and AmStd Strat.
I love the grain on this guitar.

DAAAAAANG. That grain is majestic! The body shape is interesting too. I like that body contour on the back. Seriously beautiful Tele man! I notice you have some noiseless pickups too. How do those sound? I’ve heard a lot of mixed opinions! I’ve seen some YouTube reviews that sound amazing with the noiseless! What’s your take on them?

    Thanks.
After 40 years of guitar playing I didn’t know what Noiseless was until I played this. And there are players on this site who probably would do a much better job describing them than I ever could. But here goes.
Bridge - cuts like a knife with clean, full highs that snap, crackle and pop, especially with notes and chords played on strings 3-6 frets 3-12. The tone knob is very useful here.
Neck - cool dark tones, so cool sometimes I need a parka; chunka chunka power chords.
Middle position is here I spend most of my time, favoring treble ever so slightly. Nice clean leads, satisfying chords.
Compared to other Teles I’ve played, mostly Baja, the tone is much more full and lush.
Ah, it’s metaphysically absurd trying to describe what I hear.
I can spend an hour playing scales, just listening to the sounds it makes, I guess that’s the best way to describe the pickups.
It goes through a Blues Jr with the Master dimed and Volume at 3-4. And I can make all three positions bark and growl through my TS9. That’s really fun.
    Does any of that help?

    Welcome aboard from Sunny Arizona!!!
I’ll post a pic- My avatar. 1968 Telecaster bass. Came to me with crappy shoe-polish like refinish that looked like someone tried to get off with a brillo pad...some TLC, custom mint green pickguard, black nylon tape flats and a tugbar, along with chrome bridge cover...now looks pretty good I think! 71EAB619-B3DF-409D-BCE6-76DC9834A8AD.jpeg

Oh, Snap!! Pic taken in Vermont, before I relocated to the Southwest!!

    Hi and welcome.

Since you asked, here’s my Tele. MIJ take on early 60’s type. But with some light modding now.

haha this will work! Appreciate the description! I definitely turn down the treble on my amp to balance out the harshness on mine but I still keep the high end! This makes me hopeful to try some noiseless in the future.

I have never seen one of those!! Lol @ the shoe polish finish. It looks beautiful after everything you did to it.
