I've been wanting one of these for some time and finally ordered it tonight before the new tariffs cause everything from China to jump 25% or so in price. (This gave me a good excuse) Getting the mahogany/natural finish and really looking forward to it as my only tele has been an SX knock off from Rondo Music. I'm on a low fixed income and ordered it from zZounds on one of their no interest payment plans so I can afford it. I only play at home with small practice amps or through my Micca bookshelf speakers or headphones and an interface (old line 6 toneport) using mainly free software (one called tonelib GFX-sounds great or rakarrack-linux) I play mainly jazz, rock, blues...just for fun by myself or with friends. I'll put up a pic when I get the guitar...fun, fun, fun....

I got one recently, and I'm going to drop some Fender PV '64 pickups in it. I am expecting that will go very well indeed. Great guitars.

    I have 3 CV Teles.......

A few months after they were released, I bought a 50s Blonde, followed soon afterwards by a CV Custom. Both wonderful guitars, and the models that appealed to me the most. A couple years later I was very fortunate to receive a CV Thinline as a retirement gift from my co-workers. I have many much more expensive guitars but these CV's are special - truly quality instruments and unbeatable value.

Over time, the CV Thinline has probably become my favorite of the 3. I sure hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. Congrats!

Picked up the new thinline today. Looks and sounds great...no visible defects, frets smooth, no sharp edges. A little buzz on the 6th string, easy fix. Very happy, I did order a black pg but after seeing the pearloid won't be swapping it for a while. My pic is not the greatest but this guy is really nice looking in person. :)
