Just seen some in my local shop, didn’t get the chance to play one but they looked like quality kit.

Where's that? Fender US site lists them as "Coming Soon" and Sweetwater doesn't expect them until December.

Kinda loving the looks of that duosonic. Humbucker in the bridge is the mod I want most, and it'd save me a lot of trouble fussing with a router. I hope they offer other colours. Not that Desert Sand is bad, it's OK, but if they made one in Olympic White I'd buy without a moment's hesitation.
That is such a clever modification. That HB makes the Duo-Sonic a real dark horse. Would love to hear it.

I wish they do a Squier CV Champ!
( I just mean a budget Champ)

Right? I have one of the Monoprice Stage Right 5w tube amps and it's Champ-ish, perfectly useable—and was only $200. They could certainly find a supplier to produce something similar.

Though I assume they'd probably want to make new faux-vintage models (like the Pawn Shop series ones) as opposed to competing with/sullying their own very-expensive high-margin Fender classics.

Aside from the sherwood green Esquire and the vintage white Telecaster bass, I’d call that a bunch of mutts from the pound but to each their own, I guess. More like fully assembled partscasters.

The Bigsby custom tele is something I wouldn't mind checking out, I just don't know about the handle getting in the way. With my strats I take the stick off and use the heel of my hand to wiggle the tremelo.
