It dawned on me that some of you might not frequent the recording forum. Maybe? I don't know. Even though it's not a "worships song" I mention praying and giving God thanks for my 50 years.

I wrote things song about myself, for myself cuz I'm turning 50.

I could actually use prayers. I'm not in love with the idea of hitting 50 years old deep down. I mean I'm trying to focus on the fun and postives. But part of me is like, you're gonna drop over dead old man. LOL.

50 was painful for me, too, sort of a bone-jarring shock saying, "Dude you might think you're cool but you'll never be YOUNG and cool again." I got past it though by focusing on the fact that I'd eaten half a century and was coming back for another bite. God's got more for you and you're going to be fine.

PS - enjoyed the tune, nice combination of depression and quirky hope.

I used to be 18 trapped in the body of a 50 yr old. Now 50 is way in the rearview mirror. But…..still playing. Knock down 50 and keep on!

That's the one thing about music that I realized in the last few years. You can do it til you're like, super old. I mean I might have to give up drums at some point, and bass will likely get rough at some point. Well, you get the point.

If it God allows it, I plan to just keep going.
