Great, thanks for your support. Yes, you'll be reminded - but not automatically renewed. It's something you'll have to manually renew when you get the reminder.

How does one edit a thread title to correct an error?

I edited a thread I started but cannot figure out how to edit a mistake in the title. I perused the posts in this sub-forum but did not see the answer.

It's here but not separate of other questions. To edit a thread title click on "Thread Tools" in the top right corner of the OP. You'll see "Edit Thread" that will allow you to edit the thread title for 24-hours.

At least restore a readable font, bolded, to the right side of the landing page. Did someone specifically request a font that requires the Hubble telescope to decipher?

Any way to have more than 20 thread titles in one single page ? The avatars and titles are big, eh ?
Personally, since it's just titles, i'd rather have 60 small titles than 20 big ones.
To this regard, i prefer the former forum, otherwise it's pretty neat.

Actually... others are not seeing what you are seeing. Which is why only a tiny handful of folks are commenting on this. You probably won't believe it but the other 99% of us don't have this problem.

Kind of on the lines of what was said immediately above your post - the LARGE overwhelming avatars are not seen by the majority of other members. There is something in your settings on your browser on your computer that is making it seem that way. The "old" forum had 20 posts per page - for the last few years. Pretty much the same as here.

I think I am seeing this too, and it's really my only complaint about the new site (despite me not liking change at all). Otherwise, I can get used to everything else.

I know there are some seeing this - I'm only saying the vast majority are not. If I knew why some were I'd tell you how to fix it

In fairness, Paul, although 20 posts was the default, with the old software it was possible to change this in the Preferences pane, in my case to 40 posts. However, you have explained clearly above why with the new software such an option is no longer available.

    Thank you.

Really, i would have sworn it was 40 threads per page or something, lol.

Ok, got it for the avatars, but nevertheless, do you think it would be a possible option to have multiple choices for the number of threads displayed ?

This software does not offer that option as a standard feature. We have chosen, for a variety of reasons, to not add this function to the site.

It's right where it was on the old forum - it just looks different:

I too would really like an option for more than 20 threads per page - I had mine set at 40/page in the old SW.

I can't find the "Private Mail" menu. Is "Start a Conversation" replacing that? If not, what's the difference?

Otherwise, awesome conversion and I like it in every way.

    Thanks.

Hi, at the very top of the thread listing in this Forum Problems and Issues forum there are nearly a dozen "Quick Help" threads. Each one will help you get acquainted with the new software.

One of the very first of those "Quick Help" threads covers your question. Here's a link:

Check out the other Quick Help threads as soon as possible to learn all about this new version of the the TDPRI.

Oops. Sorry. I went through the whole "new software discussion" thread and didn't even think about checking the "Quick Help" threads. Sometimes I've been known to bypass the obvious.

    Thanks.

Why does the site icon look like this in my Safari (iPhone) bookmarks?
