Chris Rock is in it. The trailer makes it look like a non sequitur in the Fargo lore, but I am curious enough to watch tonight.

Good to know but I guess I'll have to wait for it to come to Netflix before I'll be able to watch it. I recognized quite a few of the exterior locations from the first 3 seasons.

I spent 3 days on set in early March. Whether or not I made the cut, I don’t know.

Season 3 was my favourite. Hope it comes on Netflix soon!

Each season is a complete stand-alone story, although there are some links and easter eggs.

i thought these two episodes were really good. quite a bit different than the other seasons. it seems like they are very aware of boardwalk empire.

So far it is entertaining enough to watch, there is no other compelling alternative in the time slot. I don't like it as much as prior seasons, it has nothing to do with Fargo, ND, SD, and MN so far and it is about competing organized crime families and therefore outside the usual lanes for Fargo. But certainly not bad.

I think I saw that the setting is Kansas City. What's the MN connexion?

Long story. Actually the connection to MN is pretty slim, and not really relevant. They are just using the "Fargo" name as a clothesline on which to hang different barely-related stories. Each one gets more detached from the original story.

Nurse Oraetta Mayflower is from Minnesota but that’s about it. That may be the only connection that will be made.

    I like it so far.

Only a theory, but Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine) from the excellent 2015 season was a hitman sent into the mix by the Kansas City mafia. I'm gonna guess this is his origin story, and he may be the son Chris Rock's character left in the care of the Italians...and the older ward/hostage Rabbi Milligan.

It is not great, but it is not bad, either. I have continued to watch it.

I do not believe Wrench And Numbers has been used yet this season.

Agreed. There certainly have been better seasons. I have been enjoying the twisted nurse. Her character is saving the show for me.
