Some words get rhymed over and over and over and over - love/above, you/true, and so on. But others get left completely left by the wayside. Unfair!
So here's a game designed to give those forgotten words their day in the sun.
The rules:
1: I write a pair of rhyming words that I've never heard used in a song.
2: You post a couplet that uses them. Use the first word to end your first line and the second to end the second line.
3. Then you post two more words that rhyme but never show up in songs.
4. Someone else uses them in a couplet and posts two more never-used rhyming words.
5. And so on. The winner is whoever posts last.
I'll start:
- parasol
- aerosol
Now you make a couplet with them and give us a new pair of words for us to rhyme.
