Apparently, although like you I can’t find anything anywhere other than the thread I found these photos on TGP.Is this at NAMM? I'm not finding any info about this online.
I get that and it's part of why I think it's a Neunaber design.Probably an impossible ask but I wish it was analog like all my other quilter stuff
The guy who posted that short review did say on follow up that the effects were of that quality, so seems like everyone is assuming that is the case, which would be great.I'd bet it's got Neunaber stuff under the hood. That's much more the Neunaber kind of gear and there are visual cues.
If so, I bet it sounds and feels fantastic.
I think part of Quilter's reputation is in analog, so it wouldn't surprise me if after absorbing Neunaber they keep the domains separate. The guy who posted that short review did say on follow up that the effects were of that quality, so seems like everyone is assuming that is the case, which would be great.
Like others, I was really just hoping Quilter would update their analog Superblocks to include a high-quality (digital) reverb and tremolo, because I think everything else about them is pretty much perfect.
In a way I would be sad if they are moving towards digital amp modeling, and if so hopefully just in addition to their analog stuff.
But that said, it will launch with a browser based app (nothing to install) which will allow a user to edit their presets in real time from a Google Chrome Browser.
That's twice I got hoodwinked and my reply showed up before I did. This is the way. I hope more vendors do this.
Hi Chris,That's twice I got hoodwinked and my reply showed up before I did. Here to answer any questions and help if I can.
If the success of amps like the Blackstar Debut 50 are any indication, I'm sure they would keep the analog stuff. I hope I'm not being too optimistic. In a way I would be sad if they are moving towards digital amp modeling, and if so hopefully just in addition to their analog stuff.
Uh oh! Long answer. (But I will try to simplify)Hi Chris,
Thanks so much for showing up on the forums to answer questions! I'm a big Quilter fan and on my second amp of yours at the moment. My main question about the Elevate is whether the amp sounds are going to be analog as on the rest of your products. You said it is not going to be modeling or profiling, so does that mean the amps are not digital?
Thanks again!

I think I fixed it.I had one that was better covered in a private message, but your profile doesn't allow for that. Drop me a line if you're interested.
This is what I was hoping for as well, because of how wonderfully I know that both brands can fill those niches. This Elevate thing though? It looks (to me) like something from the '80s that I'd find gathering dust at my local used music store, because I'm not sure what it even does at first glance, and by my initial inspection, it looks like I'll have to do some menu diving on a low-rez LCD screen.Like others, I was really just hoping Quilter would update their analog Superblocks to include a high-quality (digital) reverb and tremolo, because I think everything else about them is pretty much perfect.
It looks like it has digital amp and cab effects, so I'm really curious what distinguishes it from modeling.Brian Neunaber of Neunaber technology joined our team a couple years ago. He has been working on this for about two years, and it is digital, but definitely not modeling. (We like to call it the Anti-Modeler.)
