I'm much more of a Tele player but I tried one of these when they came out. Very nice and the buttercream is lovely to look at. Enjoy.

I love my Tele's, but when I played that Strat I was amazed at how easy and smooth it played.

I have the Sage Green one with PF board, and it holds its own against my Am Pro, Am Performer, and CP 60s Strats. Best bang for the buck in the Fender line up IMO. DSCN0830-2.jpg

The player series is fantastic - both the teles and the strats. Enjoy the new guitar!

I agree. I also have a sage green Player Strat, and its quality is as good as my ‘99 American Standard... all for $300 less than I paid for that guitar 20 years ago!

Ran into a crap load of unexpected expenses this weekend, so regrettably had to put the Strat on hold for a little while:(

I thought it was another refugee from Strat Talk on the way, but read it wrong. Sorry to hear of your unplanned difficulties, hope you get it sorted soon.
