I dig it, especially with the white outline.

If it were me, I'd keep both and switch them as the mood strikes me.

Thanks! I think the white guard looks perfect with a maple fretboard but I love the way this black pickguard looks with the Pau Ferro fretboard this guitar has. I will keep the white one though so if the mood strikes I can switch it up for little while.

I much prefer white, but it's a personal thing. Now black on butterscotch blonde and white blonde is a win, win.

That is the G-400 pro that I turned into a one pickup, one volume guitar. It has a DiMarzio super distortion for a bridge pickup. I put the CTS volume knob where the 3-way switch was and then had to drill out the other holes to I think 1/4" to fit wooden dowels in. Then I just painted those with black nail polish. I traced what I thought would be a good pickguard shape on some cardboard to use as a template and then cut the pickguard material on a band saw then used a dremel to get a beveled edge. It turned out pretty good but if you were to look closely it is definitely not perfect. Someone that knows what they are doing will wince if they read this account! I like the rough edges though. It was a fun thing to get to know my guitar a little better

Looks nice. I like SixStringSlinger's suggestion.
