I just took delivery of the ENO ES-9 and Donner Morpher pedals from www.donnerdeal.com

The ENO ES-9 is a tube screamer clone. It has a bit of grit even with drive level at minimum, so no clean boost there. However, I do like the tone with the gain just cracked open, has a bit more transparent tone over an Ibanez ts-9. Might be a bit less mid boost. This works great for my low gain tones. $55 new, but they had a 40% off coupon code.

I have the ENO DS-02 OCD clone already and that is my favorite medium gain overdrive.

Next is the Donner Morpher which is based on the Suhr Riot. pretty good distortion pedal that is touch responsive. Haven't played around enough to say which mode I like better. I am leaning towards natural with classic right behind. I think the mode switch chooses between different clipping diodes.

I have not tried the Mooer pedals, but the ENO and Donner use a similar form factor and probably come out of the same factories.

The ENO pedals work great with my Peavey Classic 30. I almost went with the ENO Crunch Box clone but at the last minute chose the Donner Morpher.

I really really like the ENO pedals. Sound really nice.

I have the ENO Trouble pedal. I think that it's an OCD copy but I'm not sure. I like it very much, it knocked the Mooer Black Secret off my mini board as it suits what I play much better.

I recently picked up the Donner Chorus, Tutti Love it's called for some strange reason. I wasn't too keen on it initially but I'm warming to it more and more.

They are a very cool range of pedals and they sometimes really nail the sound of the original at a budget price.

I've read that the Suhr Riot is based on the Marshall Guv'nor but have never played that pedal. Would you say the Morpher sounds similar to any other circuits - RAT, DS-1, Distortion +, something else... ? What's its EQ like?

I can't really compare the Morpher to anything as I've never bought distortion pedals before, only overdrives. I tried the MXR badass '78 and prime and hated them.
