    Thanks for this image.

I have a gold anodized and wondered what it'd look like on a CAR Jimmie Vaughan.

I would have recommended Fender brand Mint Green.

    Aged white or Parchment accessories.

Love the pearloid look. I have a tele with the same color. Actually, an Esquire now. I used a single ply white guard to keep it simple. Now you've got me thinking... :)

I do not care for anodized anything personally, that is one look that looks really bad to me (just my personal opinion, of course.) I think my Midnight Wine MIM Tele looks gorgeous with a white pearloid guard. Everyone who sees it comments on how beautiful it is.

Pearloid is THE ONLY color guard for an Agave blue guitar... Fantastic combo!

Yeah, I love the Agave Blue color - I believe Fender has stopped making this color, though.. Don't know why - it's a great color. Daphne Blue is close, but not the same..

Yeah, I do like my MOTS pearloid guard!

Doesn't take long to set up the pedalboard at all - just plug 'n play.. Plug in the wall wart, the 2 input jacks (amp and guitar), the DC Out, and the effects cable, and you're good to go.

Thanks. It was somewhat labor intensive putting the new pearloid guard on, but not too bad. Just be sure you put everything back where it belongs!

If you do replace a pickguard on a strat, here's a tip: Be sure to measure your pickup height with a ruler before you take off the old pickguard, then write down the measurements (for each pickup) on a piece of paper. Then when you put the new guard on, adjust the pups back to the original height.

Here's my 2004 Agave Blue with rosewood. This too was not only my first Strat, but my first Electric. +1 on the pearloid pick guard. I've added Texas Specials and the Toneshapers blender kit. High dollar axes have come and gone, this one remains strong!

Yes, that really look good. Also agree with boris, as I love mint guards on these as well.
I love experimenting with different colors, very inexpensive and drastic changes.

Love the gold and tort on the redish strat too.

Penny, I like the koa teles a lot, post a pic of that sweet guitar. I'm sure that would be a fun one to experiment different guard colors with. Been looking for one myself.
I want to get a koa teler, and swap out a nice maple neck on it, and diff logo.

Ain't nothing wrong with any of them.

I swapped the original 3 ply white guard on my MIM strat for a pearloid one and then went back to the original one after a few years once it had aged a bit and took on a more creamy look which looks great with the new dark sonic blue finish.

I also swapped the white guard on my Clapton strat for a pearloid one but went back to the original white last year cos again that has aged very nicely and gives the guitar a more vintage appearance.

I also like the tortoise shell guards as well. I actually don't have a major preference for any of these and there's no reason why any guitar can't have a change of the guard as and when it takes your fancy.
