    ...in the house.
    I'll post pics later.
    1994.
It showed up on craigslist for 3 bones and I couldn't resist.
    Original TKL case.
These things are damn scarce...and I've never seen a black one.
It's been very well set up and plays really nicely.
Split shaft tuners (didn't expect that).
    Couple dings.
    Zero fret wear.
    Hey...George is playing 'em!

The Sorrento has always been underrated, IMHO.
I don't know why it took Epiphone so long to get around to
doing a reissue. May you enjoy it for many years!

Oooooo...must see....I love the Sorrento. I have one of the '1962' reissues, but would love one of those older reissues. $300 is a great price.

    $300.00?
It was certainly priced to sell.
I’ve always like Gibson mini humbuckers.
    Nice catch,

Yeah, the 90s ones got P90s. That's why I want one!

When I was 15 I took guitar lessons for a few months from a guy that thought after hours in a guitar shop. Every week I'd pick up a Sorrento they had, and every week he'd tell me to put it down and play a Les Paul like everyone else. It was a cool guitar though!

I've come close to buying a vintage one a few times and they still pop up on my radar from time to time. They're a very cool design.

I sold three guitars this week, and now I'm eyeballing a '62 reissue on Reverb.

    It never ends, does it?

PS - Congrats on a good score at a great price!

The Korean-made Sorrento is on my short list. Somehow I'd rather have that kind of Sorrento instead of a Casino.

    Ooooooo

Can’t wait to see the photos. These are cool guitars. Always liked the 1962 reissue ones with the mini hums.

The only issue with the 1962 reissue is that the neck is three pieces--not one. But that's just being picky, because it is a great guitar that plays well and sounds fantastic.

Great price. I was lusting after those '62 reissues when they first appeared.

I just love the look of them. I was shopping for one a couple of years ago, I should have grabbed one then because the price on the reissues has gone up since then.

zoop.jpg Still haven't plugged it in!
Took the black speed knobs off for some I had.
    It has pointers!
If I keep it, I will go with black pickup covers and maybe black pick guard like it's grandpa has.

Nice! Funny, the E must have fallen off the pickguard, because it's mounted crooked.
