New Nachocasters

Sorry to disagree. Art is something different. It's a matter of creating something new that cannot be achieved by technique or formulas.
Those nachocasters are copies of worn old guitars. Someone who makes such fine reproductions is no artist, but an artisan.

Don't shoot me if I used the wrong words, I'm no native speaker.

Back to the topic. I like teles, but I wouldn't like such a worn and badly kept guitar. I love my instruments and like them clean. Vintage violins are always kept in good shape and are beautiful even after 400 years.

Anyone named Hari Seldon gains my utmost respect. ;-)

Violins are for classical music, played in the finest opera houses. Blackguard Teles/Esquires were made to be played in bars and more often than not, rough bars. To each his own tho.

I play violin in my bands, too.
And scratches, dents and damage can be repaired.

A good friend of mine who has been building high-end Teles for over 20-years had one come through his workshop recently (not for any work; the owner had brought in another guitar for a refret and had his Nachocaster with him).

He was overwhelmed. Not only did it look fabulous it played superbly [according to my friend] and sounded amazing - in his words although I paraphrase - like an authentic Blackguard should.

I regard them both as good friends and the Tele expertise they have between them is quite humbling.

As proud as the Fender “Custom Shop”? You know, the “Custom Shop” whose products are available at many local guitar shops? I know where my fictional lottery winnings would be spent.

The really really really really really really really good thing about this is that I’m not a fan of bsb color, yes he does different colors, but im more of a rosewood kind of guy!!

if he does 60’s style, im dedzzz.

I don’t follow Nacho so I was surprised by the number of guitars available. It sounds like he has a team of builders now.

I like his business model of making what he wants to make instead of taking custom orders. I’m sure these will all sell at his asking prices. $5K is still a fraction of the cost of a vintage Nocaster.

If Ron Kirn likes these guitars I trust that they are excellent instruments. However, I would take one of Ron’s guitars over these any day of the week.

I sat 15 feet from Arlen Roth at a gig on the east coast. He played his nachocaster thru a peavey vintage 30. It sounded unreal and looked amazing when he showed it to me. I'd buy one in a new york minute if i could try it first.

Sounds like someone that may be a bit pedantic has never seen one of Nacho's guitars... but to counter.. OFTEN artisans take previously created items and "re-orchestrate" them into something fare more art than the purpose for which they were originally intended.. I would suggest that today, there are sections of an infamous wall, which once dissected Berlin, all over your homeland which were never intended as anything resembling art, which are now coveted as such...

Yeah, the "art"-folks can be quite a bit self-important...
...that's why I call the Mona Lisa and the music of Bach "art" and not concrete walls, butter stains and naked women laying eggs in public.

I'd love to own on the Nacho Mid 50's white Strat that weighs 6 lbs. 6 oz.

Besides being a beautiful strat, I'm sure it'd be a pleasure to play.

Really? How so? Have you played one of the Nacho guitars?
I played a few Nacho Tele's, nice guitars but they don't make me run and sell my CS Teles at all. I do love is Blackguard Book.
