New Music: The Oh Hellos

    Here's a brother and sister band from San Marcus Texas that my daughter in grad school turned me on to.

    I think they're quite good.

    That album is almost a decade old. They have 7 albums out. Well, they have 7 major releases, several seem to be more EPs than Albums.

    When I looked them up, it turned out I used to skydive just south of where they are from. Weird.

    Anyway, here is a song from their second album

    Guess I should have said new to me. Maybe they're not new to anyone else.

    But i think the songs are good...i find that the most important thing. Christian music needs
    all the good songs it can get.

    How many songs reference the Prodigal son? Well, here's another...

    And here's a couple of covers so that the members' facial hair, clothes and choice of instruments don't get in the way.

    To be fair, your post reminded me of them; I had forgotten about them quite a while ago. Some good songs. Even though I downloaded 3 of their albums, I’m not sure they will be in my regular rotation. More of an occasional partaking.
