There's a relatively new Chinese pedal brand called Mosky, which appear to be the same size as the Kokko minis, and I've seen their TS and OCD clones on Ebay for some time, but they now have a BB, Golden Plexi, and Suhr Riot clone, as well. I may have to try them, 'cause I liked the Caline BB clone and the Joyo Riot clone.

I hadn't seen that one before. It looks just like the Joyo but with different cosmetics. Here's some of the minis I was talking about. There's also a chorus, a delay, a reverb, and others, as well as the OD and Dist. ones.

I have a few Mosky pedals, the OCD clone is good and the XP Booster is great.

If anyone tried the Plexi-m I would like to her what you think about it.

Only tried the SHO boost from Mosky and it took some help from folks smarter than myself and a lot of modding to lower the noise to an acceptable level.
Sounds really good, but the noise was terrible from the factory.

    Regards,

    Lars

I'll second the notion that the XP Booster is great. It makes my Blues Junior sound full, for lack of better words. Always on pedal.

Southpaw Tele: I also use it with my Tele into a Blues Junior. The XP Booster really helps to tame some of the shrill treble that my Tele have in sometimes and make the sound full.

Only issue I have is that it makes the signal a bit to loud for me (even with the internal dip switch on +0db mode). I have my Master volume on the Blues Jr very low, and there is a very tight span between the volume not audible and two loud for me (with the young kids sleeping upstairs).
But this issue is probably only me, a booster is of course built to increase the signal level.

I have no idea how anyone can keep up with the sheer volume of pedal makers, let alone the number of models each offer.
I suppose there is not a lot to be lost in pedals that cost less than $40. I suffer from pedal fatigue. I keep thinking that the market is saturated and there can't possibly another company or individual to enter the field but "oops, they did it again."

I have the Mosky Spring Reverb - great little reverb unit for not a lot money. Peaked my interest in the Black Rat.

Well, get used to it. Most of these pedals are just 'badge engineered', as in anyone can buy a minimum number of these chinese minis, slap their name on it and get into the pedal business. Mind you, I think they're well-worth that $40 or so, but I don't put a lot of value in any particular brand.

Really doesn’t matter to me. I’ve gone digital with a Helix. My PRRI will have to do with the 6 or 7 pedals I still have which shouldn’t be a problem since I’m only using the Helix now.

Unfortunately, the switch does almost nothing...but it's a great pedal.

Has anyone tried their small power supply ? It has 5 or 6 outs i think
    Or their tuner/power supply?

I am just getting into pedals. I have a membership to a pedal of the month club from a gear rental place here in austin. Rock n Roll rentals (shout ot)
For 20$ a month i get 3 pedals at a time and can switch as many times as i want a month.
So i am lookkng for a power supply to hopefully quiet down the noise from the daist chain i am using now.

I saw some A/B-ing with original OCD and the Mosky has lower volume? If so, that's a bummer.

What the unity volume? I hate pedals with low output

I havet tought about any volume issues with the Mosky OCD, but I havet used it on my pedal board for a while.

Will hook it upp next time I have the chance to play (which unfortunatly can be a while) and compare the volume with my Boss OD pedals and see if I notice a drop.
