Hi, my name is Kazik, and I come from Falkirk, Scotland.
I am 70 years old, and have been playing for 2 periods in my life. The first was between the ages of 15 and 24, during the 1960's when I was playing lead guitar in various bands culminating in a really good band with a record contract (unfulfilled as the manager wanted us to do pop material), so went to Germany where we played for 1 year. The band folded in 1971. There was a period in between when being unable to get another band good enough together I made a career in Government. The second period started 6 years after I retired. I now play in a blues band and am thoroughly enjoying life.
My gear has evolved in the last 4 years, and I'm currently playing a Fender Special Strat, and a recently acquired Fender MIM Telecaster. I play these through a Fender Deluxe Reverb Head with 2 Orange PPC 12 inch cabs I also occasionally use a Vox Pathfinder. I also have a pedalboard with various pedals. The tele I recently got has been pro set up and plays like a dream.

    Welcome!
Most of my ancestry (including my grandparents) comes from Scotland. Awesome place. Love hearing about people having a "dream" player, like your tele. Good job.

Hi, good to hears your ancestors come from the "old" country. As you have guessed my name is not Scottish, although I was born in Scotland, my dad was Polish. I'm gigging tonight, and will use the Tele for the first time in battle, and am looking forward to it. My band is LAST TANGO IN MEMPHIS, and you can see us on Facebook. all the best, Kazik

Thanks Tery, I'll try and keep up standards and not write a load of rubbish. I've recently posted on changing pickups on my Tanglewood Quomaster 30 Tele, and had load of replies. I've come to the end of the journey on this one, and purchased a Seymour Duncan Vintage Broadcaster set, from a trader in New Jersey, so it'll be probably a couple of weeks till they get here (they were 115 dollars (£93.5) and free postage), which is a lot cheaper than if I purchased them in the UK. I have arranged to get them installed after a complete set up, so hopefully they'll work me. Cheers, Kazik

Great to hear that you sorted out your pickup problem Kazik and even better to hear you went with the Duncans (that's a gude Scoots name if ever I heard one!). I've built two Teles with Duncan antiquities in them and I think they sound great. Welcome to the fold or should that be foldback?
I'd give the Tango in Memphis a twirl but I'm FB immune. Any other links?
