Here's a new lockdown special - here's a new vid track, "Sink". Pounding Precision and resonating Rickenbackers abound....

Sorry no Tele footage on this one. There might be a Directors cut sometime though.

Social distancing and minumum use of loo paper rules were carefully observed.

Thanks. The previous track we did was a little West Coast, but this time we gave it some of that post punk thing. Gin Blossoms, The Jam?

Dig it. Vocals could sit a little more prominently in the mix, IMO

    Thanks for the critique. Appreciated.
Did all the recording and mixing by myself and I get a little cabin fever about it and can't quite hear differences anymore.

    I know how that is.
But yeah, for the song, it's such a poppy thing, in an indie/alt way, it seems the vocals ought to be right on top, nice and crisp and clear

Kind of an 80s vibe, maybe 90s. Dig it.

Thanks, Yes, 80s 90s no doubt.

Mid 50s guys play music from their youth. Surpising, heh? :)

Unfortunately I don't. But I can sit by my 3rd floor patio doors and play guitar at neighbour-friendly level.

All you need to see & hear about pounding bass right here. Vintage Grand Funk. The real deal Mel Schacher in his prime bass playing days loud and rockin' the Precision bass

There’s something about those old clips with amplifiers maxed. Not hi fi but gut pumping stuff
