I'm having a hard time understanding...

you'd actually rather they release an "esquire" with a neck route?

    ...why?

I get it. Where there's a will there's a way. I routed my CV Thinline for a Lollar CC pickup, and my burst CVC for a Gretsch Dynasonic, tall magnets and all. I already own the FSR black CVC..

I like that the bridge is drilled for top mounting the strings or string through.

Woulda been nice if you could, oh I don’t know, maybe actually see the binding in the photo. Being that that’s the main feature that makes this line unique.

This is why I have 2 guitar hooks on the wall. There are always 2 empty cases. Room to grow. Must-have-binding-

Oh no. Domestic harmony may be temporarily disrupted around here because of this.

I'm making progress with her though. I recently picked up an ancient Gibson acoustic to flip, and the other day she said she thought I should keep that one. Never heard that one before!

But those sparkly Teles are sure to draw a lot of attention. I've been cleaning out parts of the house, and I'm putting together a pile of unused stuff to sell. Maybe I can convince her that since I'm getting rid of some stuff, maybe I can add a sparkly new Tele.

I have a CV Esquire, shall I get the black one and stick on a transparent pickguard, throw on gold hardware and turn it into a djent machine?

Some of the later esquires before the Tele actually had this - they were called the double esquires. Also, as much as I love one PuP esquires and would not get rid of mine - there is something badass about a two pickup guitar with 'Esquire' on the headstock to give it that extra custom vibe.
