8" King Benchtop
Flattens 7 1/2" boards with ease I'm very happy
That's half a tele
Nice. Does it have the helical cutter head?
Very nice. I grabbed a Delta benchtop jointer last year, and while it's admittedly more of a convenience than a necessity, it's a serious convenience that I've not once regretted. Here's to many years of nicely surfaced boards!
Thanks Yes same setup as my 6" had and my planer .
Nice! It's funny that it looks exactly like my 6" Delta jointer, though it must actually be a lot bigger in person. How much does one of those set you back? That extra 2" would be very convenient sometimes...
In Canadian dollars a 6" is $399 and a 8" is $599
There are at least 4 name brands they go under But I think they are made by a company called Cutech
Enjoy your new jointer!
I need 120 ft of 1x8 birch next week
Is that a 6" or 8" ?
edit: Just read your last post - if you are running 120' of 1"x8", it must be an 8"
They look alike at first glance but the 6" doesn't have extensions
This is the 6"
6 & 8
