New house appliances, what have you purchased lately to be pleasantly surprised about?

I got a petrol chainsaw and cut down a local forest.

Seems the most direct and quick way to gain the end results of conspicuous consumption.

The washing machine we’ve had for 20yrs, I’ve managed to repair twice. DIY repair is almost impossible with new appliances.

We got rid of our dishwasher a couple of years ago. Was not the end of the world and the dishes are cleaner and done quicker now.

WOW, like, I totally haven't bought anything except a BOING pedal. As close to the "real" reverb on my vintage 1968 deluxe reverb as I've ever heard. I finally have a reverb worthy of my self made Hiwatt DR504....

And it's only got one BIG knob, doesn't take rocket science to make it sound right...................
