Hahahah!! I suppose that was a bit heavy.
I had a Crossman air pistol that looked like a Colt Python, now that SOB was near impossible to take down and put back together. I don't think I ever got the air piston back like it was supposed to be.
I've got a catapult. And a pen-knife. ;-)
Nice work on the leather Colt, and good luck with your studies.
Next time i'm down at my dad's I have to take pics of his Galagher acoustic with the hand tooled leather cover. It is a mural on the back of a native american indian camp.
I think you leather tooling guys would like it.
I'm a Kimber Desert Warrior man myself!!! I just love the 45s!...Nice work on the leather!!
Desert Warrior .......... just checked the catalog. That's a nice one.
You'd think that for the money you pay for a Kimber, they could supply more than one magazine.
Haha...I have the grand raptor 2 and the eclipse custom 2...and all the magazines I have from other suppliers just aren't as nice. I have to regulate how much I take them out because they ruin me for the other pistols that I use on a regular basis (Beretta M9 & H&k P2000)
Ill call dibs on "Bulletcaster" for the 2012 challenge.
Ah ........... another couple of really nice Kimbers. I've admired them in the store. Mine is just a Custom Crimson Carry II.
They are like guitars.....you can only play one at a time (at least play them well lol) but you like to have a selection ready
Sent from my DROIDX using TDPRI
Couldn't agree more. I have a pretty decent selection.
I love my Colt Government model, and in the future, I hope to amass a large collection of higher end 1911s. The Browning 1911-22, is probably my next purchase.
That looks like a lot of fun. Where do you get your leather and tooling from?
A leather shop in town, but to be honest, they just order it from Tandy Leather. You can go online and request a free catalogue.
Thanks... I just looked them up they have a local shop here in Charlotte.
one word. FEIBINGS, Great stuff and I have used it on several guitars as well (under nitrocell)- Goes on purrfectly.
That is what I used to dye my straps.
Good news on the anvil. It works great, really kills the noise, and no vibration.
