Actually, a displaced Ohio yankee that fell in love with the state and never left.

I’ve built a few guitars and a few amps. I’m a retired field service engineer that decided to get back into guitar. It naturally led to the technical aspects and here I am.

I’m old school. My tastes in music are western swing, rockabilly and anything by Hank Garland or the Studio B “A” team of the Nashville glory days. Memphis stuff as well.

Tube amps, slap back delay, hollow and semi hollow guitars. As well as anything that was conceived by the genius of Leo Fender. I play a telecaster I built myself. A Jazzmaster as well plus several guitars by Guild and Heritage of Kalamazoo.

By request. Both partscasters. I’ve painted and finished a few but I didn’t enjoy the process much. I like assembly and achieving a world class set up.

These are both an accumulation of parts from Asia, Europe, Canada, the UK and of course, the USA. The pickups are both made by Bootstrap, in Ohio.
