I think @John Backlund is giving one away at a garage sale for peanuts.

Man, if I knew I could buy a guitar from John Backlund, I probably would have. Would have saved $150.

I have been looking at the baritone in the same concept. That is sweet. It is on my hunt list also. Not that one but a Dano 12 string earlier version. I have 3 Dano's already U1, U2, U3. Have fun withat sweetie!

I was looking at this one ($500), The Dano 66 12 string ($900) and the Gretsch Electromatic G5422G ($1000). All the reviews I read of the various Danelectro 12 strings were positive. Mostly people get the Vintage 12 or the DC59, but the wiring in my house makes single coils unbearable. Especially for recording.
I ordered this guitar in black from Sweetwater knowing they were out of stock. Got a call from my rep who said they expected more in two weeks, but that they'd just gotten in a few in "blood red." That was my second choice and I'm terribly impatient so I went for it. Now that I've recorded with it and found it to be a really well made guitar, the color is growing on me by the minute. The P90 in the neck isn't even noisy.
Like most people, I will only use it here and there, so I'm glad I saved 4-5 hundred dollars and went with this one. Very happy.

I've heard all electric 12-strings come with a pair of these:

    Apologies.
Pyramid makes great flatwound strings. https://www.stringsandbeyond.com/pyr-el-fw-rnd-12.html
I've got them on my Dano.
No squeak and last forever. Your clip sounded squeak free...lol
