Ok I eventually ordered the Fender Tex Mex pickups for my squier Bullet Telecaster. All I can say is wow! What a tone difference. I honestly thought the stick pickups sounded good until I head these Tex Mex pickups. If dont even take a good ear to heat difference. The low end is much more pronounced and the over all sound is more rounded and strong . It's a thicker sound much more output but defined. The guitar tech went ahead changed my strings I brought with it Ernie Ball coated super slinky. I'm very pleased with this upgrade.

It's great when a plan comes together.

I have that same set in a Telecaster, and right now it's my favorite guitar. They don't sound like normal Telecaster pickups. They do sound like a Telecaster, but they are beefier and more of a rock tone. I love them.

    Congrats on your discovery.
They sound great in both dimensions.
