Just got this Tele, and boy am I impressed. This Tele has it all.....looks, playability and sound. I’m a big fan of the SC/HB PU Combo, and these Yosemite PU’s ROCK! Plenty of treble, without being too harsh, and definitely not thin sounding like some Teles can be, This is my 8th Tele, and may just be my favorite right now. 8A55E0BE-E4A7-4582-8D0D-746E73422CCF.jpeg 91F6A1B7-2229-4709-B7BA-E44F05BB4CFE.jpeg View attachment 638456 View attachment 638457

Congratulations on the nice Tele! I have the same model in yellow but with a maple neck. The quality on these is indeed great.

I saw one review on complaining about the neck Yosemite pickup...

I laughed. The pickup is a Seth Lover design that is unpotted. Metal shredders using stacked Boss Metal Zones will not be impressed while ripping it up on the neck pup. But that neck humbucker is what sold me on the guitar. It is great for jazz through a Deluxe Reverb. It picks up just enough of the guitar resonance to give it lots of soul for blues, jazz, classic rock or clean.

    Rock on.

Congrats. Those are excellent guitars and provide great value. That’s a lot of bang for the buck. I’ve had to resist the urge to buy one every time I have played them at Guitar Center.

That’s funny, and you are absolutely right. I was attracted to this guitar because of a similar looking Tele Special that I stupidly traded in years ago. (I would have preferred a maple neck, but loved the Aubergine color) I have been pleasantly surprised how good this guitar plays, feels and sounds. It’s been hard to put it down. Oh, and I had considered one exactly like yours, because of the maple neck, before deciding on the Aubergine one. Enjoy yours, as I know you will.

Thanks! Your sales resistance is pretty good. Mine obviously wasn’t.....but I’m not complaining. Love this Tele.
