Ormsby Goliath GTR. I love it. Totally amazing instrument. Super light, well balanced and comfortable. Plays and sounds like a dream and Has sustain for days.

Very nice. Looks like a quality instrument. I'm also intrigued by the what-looks-like-grass-but-maybe-isn't in S. Florida.

From the back it even kinda' looks like a may of Oz.

    Nice.

    Enjoy.

Is it reliced grass, or original vintage? It certainly has a nice road-worn look about it.

Looks cool. It’s very interesting and unique. The wood on the back looks very nice and the paint on the top is beautiful.

    Nice!

    That guitar is fire.

Sorry. Pretty grass intrigues me. I've been busting mowers on Johnson grass all summer and whatever you guys have in the truly deep south looks spectacular.

A bit hard to tell with the angles in the pics, does the guitar have the fanned frets that Ormsby are known for ??

Another nice Aussie brand that did the European trade shows this year is Fican Guitars ( pronounced fee can ) Google or Facebook is your friend, their factory is not far from where I live

I have a Sir Walter Buffalo grass back lawn, good stuff

Yes it has the fanned frets from what I see, never been a fan of multi-scale length guitars. It is a great looking guitar though.

the top finish looks like they were trying to emulate opal.... coincidence? (opal = Oz)

Love the finish. Reminds me of the background in many Cezanne paintings (I like copying Cezannes. Maybe I'll do a Cezanne guitar body one day.)

Yes it is multiscale. 25.5”-27.5”. The top is supposed to mimic oxidized copper. On the production models it’s a graphic. On Ormsby’s high dollar customs he actually uses real copper tops.

Very nice! I’ve always wanted to try a multi scale. How are you tuning it?

Right now it’s in standard, but I’ll probably go drop c with it.
