must have been a solid year for epiphone. Because front and back this guitar is stunning. It sounds great too (played before layaway. Back when I could lol.)

Congrats on your Gold Top! That sure is a sweet classic look for a Les Paul. Epiphones are great guitars especially after a real good set up. My 2006 LP Standard blows me away still to this day.:)

ive had quite a few epiphones in my time lol. First real guitar was a Epi custom shop sg g-400. LPs are my second favorite model guitar. Unfortunately haven’t clicked with any. So it was a constant revolving door of various LPs from different brands. This one (I am very familiar with prior to it being in the shop) actually belonged to a friend of mine and always rather liked it. Apparently he traded it in for a SG. So I know I enjoy this one (another reason I wasn’t gonna let it go).

but yea. Even as a primarily tele guy. I love epiphone. My go to acoustic is a Master Built. The AJ-45E. Or whatever the J-45 model is.

if it says anything. I currently have 4 electrics. (3 teles and this LP).

Ooooh, that looks nice. Hey, waitaminute!!! You need to heal up! You’re spending too much time browsing those ads and getting the gas!

Oh I know. It’s bad. I try to be good, sit still and relax. I can’t. I get bored and look at listings. Hence gas. Hence get in trouble lol. May email him later. If I can knock him down a little. I mean I can try. That’s a fair price. But I shouldn’t spend more. But look at it.

    I need help lol.

I’ve got a really weak spot for a Les Paul Goldtop with P90s
Play that bad boy like you stole it. Congratulations

Yea. Wish true P90s would fit. But I guess humbucker size would work too. Lol. Trying to decide if I should get a set. Or just a neck

Nice guitar! Just wanted to say that Phat Cats are really nice sounding vintage P90s in tone. Good option - I was skeptical, but they are nice.

ideally I’d love a set of Bare Knuckle Mississippi Queen P90s (or I guess HP90? Lol). But don’t think I wanna spend that much for pups on this. (Seeing I’m mainly a tele player. Just trying to branch out) I’m very pleased with what I hear in the Phat Cats. And more appropriate pricing for me
