I always stand in front of the door and face into the elevator car. And I speak to strangers while the doors are shut. Serves them right for stopping one floor before me.

When I’m waiting for the elevator I pass gas just before everyone gets off. Only an amateur passes gas inside the elevator. Then you’re suffering alongside your targets.

What is with that? I mean people say wow!. Great guitar, great deal. But many of them I roll my eyes. I'd like to say, to bad you didn't do this or that. But, I politely stay out. I like to ask how much does it weigh, if they say its an 8lb 8oz Strat it makes me snarky and want to ask, hey, are you a weight lifter? But you can't. You get folks bragging about their nauseous finish on their 10 top PRS $7500 guitar that they can't play cause it will devalue it. And everyone loves it. Oh well, it is just one of the things that make it interesting around here. OK discuss.
I acquired 3 guitars around Xmas 2020 & just kept quiet about them.
They were nothing special. One was built from a kit & I won it in a prize draw.

Wow, not sure I could like a fiesta red strat, and I have a fiesta red tele. I stand corrected.

Nice strat!

Thank you! Its a "Fender Special Run" color, and if you had asked me before I saw it I would have sworn my next Strat would have a maple neck. But this one is just so pretty. I bought it without bothering to plug it into an amp. I assumed I would need to upgrade pickups, but these suit me just fine--smooth cleans and take pedals well too.

I enjoy them.

Especially when it is a dream guitar that someone has saved for for a while, or one that has a good story attached to it. Like buying the one that got away back.
I remeber a story from our Spanish friend (sorry, forgot his name) here on TDPRI who found his favourite amp in a store couple of years after he regretfully sold it. Stories like this are the best 😀👍

NGD posts are a chance for members to share their guitars with the rest of us.

I enjoy looking at other's gear and hearing about them. It's one of the reasons I joined the forum.

One of my pet peeves is when someone feels the need to dump on or be negative in a NGD thread. If you don't like it move on, no need to make someone else feel bad about or try and defend their latest purchase.
This. Nothing more to add.

The Bottle Rocket Blue was more than I could bear.

NGD, and I don't buy very often, I make. But reinventing a blue mouse trap and breathing in the paints, pass.

I already laid a mint green PG and a rosewood neck on it... May just wind up a parts body. ;) Neck go elsewhere. ;)

The chrome PG not really me... May Esquire it with a Cavileir Bakersfield/FatLion laying around here... For a while.

Out of phase middle on a 3 way.... Maybe on a 4 way, snippy snip...

Also nice to get a git with a shim in the PU side of the pocket and too low action, coming out!

Pickups are quite vintage, but saying the pedal board gets along is under statement.
