I've consulted this website multiple times but recently became a member. I've been playing for nearly 30 years, owned and sold multiple guitars. My current setup is a Takamine my dad bought me in '98 (he recently passed away so that guitar is never going anywhere, and I'm teaching my daughter how to play on it now), a 2007 American Standard Telecaster, and a 2022 Martin HD-28 (daily player) I bought after selling off the rest of my gig gear that's been sitting gathering dust for over 12 years. I gigged for a while before kids but am now simply playing in a carved out little corner of my house.
