The Basswood body is finished in a crisp Black Paisley, lightweight and finely crafted; it delivers classic tones. The Maple neck features a U profile, 25.5" scale length, 7.25" radius and 21 vintage frets. It's real comfortable, whether you are playing huge chords or smooth lead lines, the Custom can deliver it.

With a duo of Fender American Vintage ’58 single coils, you get smooth and really detailed tone. The American Vintage pickups are held in high regard and are a really great feature of this guitar.

How is that paisley image applied? Is it a sticker with Poly sprayed over or.........?

That looks awesome. But the Paisley Telecaster isn’t on the site?

Black Paisley sounded good, but it looks too busy to me. Not unique to this color scheme, but I never got the clash of gray and white tones with the cream of a Maple neck (notice self-incriminating avatar..).

Me too. But only one pic posted on Peach Tree. Wondering if it is double bound and has a matching headstock, similar to its white and black predecessors?

Edit; on closer inspection of the only pic available, it looks top bound only.

i have been researching this as I fancied doing a Paisley build, I found you can buy the pattern either as a water slide decal or as a metal foil adhesive type deal.....I have a website link if interested

Peach will as they already do photograph the actual guitar when they have it in stock. These are Fender marketing pics I expect.

mid go for the Sherwood green but not with gold. Too gawdy. Only with nickel.

Im not sure exactly how that one is done but I have a couple pink paisley’s and they are a foil paper (like ghostdriver says) that’s glued to the body under the poly

    Probably the same process

While I like paisley guitars that black one doesn’t attract me at all, I do like that Sherwood green though

John and the boys are customer focused all the way imo.

Yes I like basses too - I just built a 61 stack knob replica with a Flea bass platform.

More details of it and more pics here below. Add some Custom Shop 63 pickups and it's a cool bass.

Ya, we are getting some amazing MIJs coming into Oz, too. Not those ones, but Aerodyne IIs and MIJ Modern series which are like USA Elites.

Could we be seeing a situation where things are more normal, production and distribution wise, in and from Japan and so the old Commonwealth countries and the UK are going to be getting their new stock from MIJ for the foreseeable future.

Because Fender USA is at such a disadvantage, right now? Seems like a wily, resourceful thing to do. And I suspect it means you all will have more selection in Lefty instruments as well (since that's always been a forte at MIJ).
