I don't have one and I'm not going to get one but I thought this video sounded pretty good. $127 retail.

I think that Mike Matthews continues to develop some great pedals at affordable prices.

I have one of those mini Vox heads that I carry as an emergency backup.

I received an email from E-H today intruding this pedal and I though it was cool.

The guy is playing through a 1 x 10 cab. Sounds full and warm.

yeah someone else started a thread on this earlier today, but in the amp sub-forum
I've thought the 22 EHX was pretty cool, and I've heard the 44 Magnum.
    Sounded good!

I was already heavily considering that 5mm amp thing EHX offers but the Howilzer has me pretty well sold now. Full control of EQ, control of grit, and should pair well with my Carvin Vintage to ping pong my delays.

I like that it has an fx loop.

Thanks for the heads up on this, John! I’m definitely getting one. I’ve been looking for a pedal amp. I was liking the orange, but I dig the clean on this a lot better. It’s now on my list of “gear to grab in 2021”.

I’m with you John. I certainly don’t need this but I want one. What a cool piece of kit at a great price!

Have the Magnum 44, great backup and not only! Still, misses tone correction, so this is very welcome!

Stuff like this always requires a power brick larger than the pedal itself, which is kind of a turn off for me.

I bought a 22 Caliber when they came out. It was discontinued and replaced with the 44 Magnum. The added tone controls and effects loop on the Howitzer are a big improvement.

I would love to see on board reverb and 40 watts. I have an affinity for small amps. My main requirement is CLEAN power and reverb. I am a little concerned about the 15 watts being enough clean power.
