    I like how when the man changes pickups the sound is different in the way we would expect it to be but it does not sound like a different guitar.

    Thank you @preeb Sometimes it can be good to have pickups that give us two different guitar sounds when installed maybe :)

    Have a great weekend!

    on watching first you tube video ov just the open guitar it sounds a tad out of tune to me maybe she needs proper saddle adjustment. if she is intonated then i dont know. maybe just the video sound. but wow what a ride wonderful wood work. every joint so perfect. every edge so smooth each part brought to perfection. just MEGA... Thanks for taking the time to shoot it all and post. btw i like black with gold knobs on such a wonderful body.Id love to see a Gil Take on a rickenbacker. O just watched pete thrash them. now they sound very very nice. love the bridge and some hi gain. great sounding instruments Gil. Wow u been posting for years and iv read all your threads. iv learnt so much so thanks for that. its people like u that inspire us mere mortals to try and reach in our guitar builds. i built my ric 330 with all home made tools and a router. Go figure. All i learnt was from here and preeb lol. with lots of help. its good to be back.

    WOW.

    And you chose a clearly brilliant artist to play them for this tone demo, too. "Wow" for his skilz, too!

    What a beautiful guitar!
    I like everything about it, especially after hearing Pete's demo.

    I have a question about having the longer ABR post contacting the Mahogany. Won't the vibrations drive that little post right into the Mahogany? Kind of like a jackhammer?

    Thanks.
    The vibrations don't have enough energy to drive a 1/8" post through dense hardwood (-;

    the Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix has a magnificent collection.
    Included in their rare & historic display - one of Gil's

    I squealed like an 8 year old @Christmas when I realized what I was walking up to.
    Sorry for potato pics.

    - edit to actually include pics -
