    looks great as always. you sure have a elegant touch when it comes to finish.. its a art i know.. but i say you need to have a sense of time too. you are after all predicting the future when you do one of these closet find finish. heh.

    keep up the good work. i do have one question. i noticed on your cap. it appears to have a sheaf? protecting the wire? what is that material?

    also, how many caps can that old machine do in a couple of hours? im assuming setup time is where it takes them most time/money to run.

    The cap insulation tubing is lacquered cloth.
    I don't know exactly how long it takes.. but it's not easy nor quick.
    Those caps cost more than the originals but they are readily available and not drifting in value (-;
