So I had GAS for a Tele and I’ve heard nothing but great things about these, especially for the money. I am extremely impressed. It looks, plays and sounds great. Don’t think I’m going to mod anything on it. It’s sounds like a Tele should. Just need to switch to .10’s. The .09’s are way too light.

Had that same CV for about a month - great guitar. I ultimately returned it because I couldn’t find a use for a tele with a strat around. But that guitar was nothing but good. Felt, played, and sounded great...

    Enjoy!

Congrats! I have had my classic vibe custom for a year and it is my favorite guitar. You will enjoy it.

I had one in the 50s version. A repair/setup pro locally had a set of 2% overwinds from Lindy that were experiments, so I bought then very cheap. Wow! I sold it off to a fellow and stuck $100 profit in my pocket years ago.

Congratulations! I bought one, just like yours, new in 2010. I still have it and it is in my rotation of three Teles. It is stock. Plays like butter. The A-3 pickups are really good... They rock... It will go to my grandson, someday......, not too soon, I hope.

Thanks guys. The jack does seem a little iffy. If I do mod anything on it, it would be a 4 way switch. If I go that route I would likely get a loaded control plate and jack. That would upgrade all the electronics in one shot.

Love it. That's a nice looking Tele. Congrats!

My MIM Cabronita has the same color scheme - not completely opaque white, black guard, maple neck.

Did you check out a pile of them, or just get lucky with the flamey neck?

Love it ! I prefer my VB to my CVC. Love the bridge p'up. Mine had a defective neck P'up and I threw in an Artec big pole and wow it really blends in with the bridge. I just got lucky !

Strangely enough flamed necks seem to be pretty common with these. I have a buddy that has 2 and both have some flame. This was just ordered from GC. Didn’t cherry pick or anything.

Agree to this. That's what I did to mine. Electrosockets are really cheap!

Yeah I have noticed a lot of play in the jack. If it becomes and issue I’ll just buy a switchcraft for $4 and replace it.

The cup is the problem. Get the Electrosocket! Mine came with a Switchcraft jack.
