Sorry, it's a fake, not a real Fender.

How do you mean "custom shop"?

A friend of mine had a Squier body with a "Fender Custom Shop" neck bolted to it. Cool looking guitar but all he did was sand off the Squier logo and everything, and put a Fender Custom Shop decal on the back, and a Fender decal on the front.

The neck you have does look better, though.

The Fender custom shop didn't start until the late 80's... Sorry man, I hope you didn't pay a lot.

Ahhh right, we see lots of those decals put on Chinese necks by the owners.
At the TDPRI we generally suggest it’s not cool to buy those counterfeit decals because they are illegal and end up being used to fool the next buyer.

If it wasn’t too expensive it might be a pretty good neck.

Basically it’s illegal to sell, buy or use counterfeit Fender decals, and this forum does not allow them to be sold here in the classified section.

Ebay and pay pal May also refund a buyer if the seller described a fake as a real Fender.
