So a lot of people make comments on my blurry photos. Well, my wife gave me a new phone this am and my kids were nice enough to set it up for me while I was sleeping. So I thought I would poast some quality pics.

So almost a year ago today I bought a console that has some cool history but needed a complete restoration. I also bought a building that was basically a shell with bad plumbing, electrical, etc.... I did everything myself and am maybe 70% done so here are some pics of my new office building.

I like the 16 track and the Frigidaire. Is it as old as it looks or a reissue?

A Blooze daddy could make it really happen in a place like that! Your clear photos show the Klon but where's the Dumble with a PRS Dragon?

My Dumble is at home. I sold my Dragon a long, long time ago. I may still have a picture of it.

Very nice! How do you like that WA1176? I almost went for that one, but got a great deal on a BLA Seventeen and went that way instead.

Interested in hearing the history of the console. Is there another thread that chronicles that?

I got this one for free to test out. It's pretty good TBA. I like it on kick drum and bass. Someday I may actually buy another. The Pultecs they make are super good. I wasn't expecting much but they blew me away and as soon as I had one I had to buy a pair. A lot of times I'll use them in bypass mode as well.

The story behind the console is it came out of the Hatch Shell in Boston. My first weekend of college in 1994 I went there and this console was there for the Green Day riot. My band at the time played there a few times (once we opened for Iron Butterfly!) and this was the console then. Pretty much for any show from about 1989 until a year or two ago.

It's a 32 channel DDA with 8 VCAs that I recapped, modded the master section and did some other work on. Back in the day they were quite a bit of money (I believe about 60k) and I always liked them. This one was auctioned off by the Commonwealth of MA and I was the only bidder. I paid about $150 for it believe it or not. With ProTools handling the automation I can track and mix through the console and a lot of people I'm working with these days seem to like that. Not the best console for everyone but for me it's cool.

Also, the 20/20s on the back wall are just for my stereo. I have an old HK map and an early 90s ES disc player just for fun. I monitor through KH-120s, I just haven't gotten them in yet.

Here are some more pics just for fun:

This is one of my fav parts. In between the bathroom and the office I put this flag up. My grandfather joined the army during WWII to get US citizenship for his wife and kids. Since he wasn't a citizen he really got put in some tough places.

This flag he kept with him following being in Normandy and it was with him during the Battle of the Bulge. It's pretty cool to see it hanging there, so I put his pic up next to it.
