musta been chilly in the studio that evening

seriously, though...Zooey is a real sweetheart with a nice, innocent voice. i've got both She & Him cds. very good stuff.

    M. Ward's solo recordings are very good too. check 'em out.

I saw them on TV a while ago... can't remember what show... but it wasn't Craig Ferguson...

Anyway, I wasn't overly impressed with her singing. Maybe she was just having a bad night.

    She and Him...very nice Winny.

And you know it's a great song when it works with just an acoustic and vocals (refering to You Really Got a Hold on Me).

I remember watching Zooey in the movie "Elf"...the scene where she sings "Baby It's Cold Outside" in the shower and sounds just like Keely Smith. It made such an impression on me, I watched the end credits to see if it was really Ms. Deschanel who did the vocals in that scene. When I saw it was her...I kinda fell in love.

She doesn't just have a great voice. She knows how to sing.

Totally! I dig the transfiguration of Vincent. Considering that Matt is such a talent, it is surprising that Deschanel wrote most of the album.
