Here my new reclaimed pine with P90’s and Bigsby. And a very happy client...
Awesome looking! I think a rosewood fret board would really make it pop.
Thought the same, but this is what he wanted...
what color ya gonna paint it?
just kidding... looks good & love the P90s
P90: the only pickup that matters.
An older P90 build, that stays with me... Worms Delight...
My first build, 30 years ago. I prefer the black covers but I'm open to the other options. This has a Gibson humbucker, back then it was touted as their PAF-alike, and a Gibson P-90, also meant to be a vintage replica.
I built this from scratch, it has a walnut skunk stripe, walnut bindings, inlays and knobs - the inlays have pearl dots, too. Set maple neck, maple body partially hollowed out, it's still a bit weighty.
Latest build and currently my favorite. I’m digging P90’s!
Of course, wowazeplin, those pups have their own charm. They mix great with... reclaimed wood...
OP, Your going down a fun road!!
I want to say I’m covered now. Have a git with HB’s two with tele Single coils, and now one with P90s. (Heck even built an acoustic) Time to build and amp or 2.
