When I heard Boss was releasing a new Waza Craft pedal I had high hopes for a few different things. Alas, it’s a boost pedal.

Sounds nice, but I’m not sure it’s gonna be a big seller. Why would this replace a Timmy, or Spark, or GE-7, etc.? $169.99 USD and no tone control, just 3 preset EQ curves. Hmmm.

I think maybe if you are going for the CE Overdrive sound or... Like me - you are building your all Boss Buffered board....

This video from Gear4Music, demos the full capabilities of this pedal. I am interested in acquiring one, I just have to figure out how to place it with a Naga Viper treble booster clone.

Yep….I’m really liking what I’m hearing from this pedal.…so I’m going to have to get one to check it out.

Way too soon for a used one…so I’m off to Reverb to find the best deal I can. :)

Really, enjoying my Analogman Astro Tone Fuzz into a Boss BP-1W on both RE and CE channels. The CE adds girth, articulation, harmonics and mids to the Fuzz at live volume levels.

Just wired a BP-1W into an angry driver on one of my homemade boards this afternoon. No conclusions yet, testing to commence when the holidays permit 😆

When you have a few extra minutes - Could you give an overview of the signal chain there and how its going into that Simplifier MKII?

This shows the current configuration, which may yet change by sundown. Apologies for amateur drawing, but as evident I’m very amateur. This board intended primarily for at-home practice with headphones. We’ll see!

Thank you! If I am understanding correctly (still cutting my teeth on pedalboard signal chain) 'effectively' stacking overdrives into the amp sim and then stacking the delays or delay/chorus? Interesting - I bet a little goes a long way when tweaking that.

* and its a much better drawing than I could do - just saying...

If you have 1) great guitars 2) great amps and 3) some ability, then all these pedals are largely interchangeable.

More time spent fiddlin' You guys already got good gear so spend your time using it.
