fascinating, thanks for posting, can't wait to check out the upcoming releases.
I just read a book entitled "Solid State", regarding the recording of Abbey Road and the breakup of the Beatles, also well done and quite interesting

After almost 60 years of books, articles, interviews, tell-alls and speculation it’s hard to believe there is anything new to say.

Well, as the article notes, that in addition to the 80 minutes of footage that went into the original Let It Be movie, "What remained in the Beatles’ vaults – although some of it subsequently fell into the hands of bootleggers – was 50 additional hours of rushes and more than twice as much audio, brimming with an immersive sense of who they were and how they worked."

That massive amount of footage can be spun in all sorts of ways by a skillful editing team -- I'm looking forward to see what sort of story Peter Jackson crafts with it. Hopefully it was in better condition than the century-old footage he was handed to make what eventually became They Shall Not Grow Old!

Enjoyed the article, thanks. Not getting Disney to watch the films. But the book might be interesting.
