Just brought the new addition to the tele family home! Was practicing some chicken pickin licks during the lockdown, and thought what the hell, why not try a bender. I had a spare maple neck, and a set of Seymour Duncan broadcaster pickups. So I ordered a MIM body and had it shipped directly to Darrin Matney in North Carolina to install the bender. Finally got her today from my guy who assembled her. Only had an hour or so to play it, and it sounds great so far. Mechanism works great and stays in tune well. I've never even seen a bender before, let alone own one. So it will take some a wood shedding to get the technique down. But that was the whole point ! :-D 20200714_181243.jpg 20200714_181215.jpg

Thanks! If anyone out there is interested in a B bender, I highly recommend Darrin Matney. Outstanding workmanship. He also has great customer service. Like I mentioned, I've never owned a bender, so I had a ton of questions before purchasing, and he was very helpful. And I was surprised by the turn around time. Had the guitar in just a few weeks. Can't recommend him enough.

    Cheers,
    Cody

Wow, Cody!! That sure looks pretty!!
I’m not skilled enough for a bender, but I DO love Clarence White. A lot.

Look at you! Join the forum a few weeks ago, then turn up with a brand new Bender!!! Get After It!!

That's awesome. I love the idea of a B Bender though I don't know how much I would use it. Congrats!
