    Hi Guys!

Haven’t been around in a while. Just popping in. Picked up a new amp yesterday and absolutely loving it. Got a great deal on a low mileage older molder HR DeVIlle 410. Brand new Tubes too. This thing may just be my dream amp. Can’t wait to get the change to open this baby wide open and see what she’s got! Here’s a pic. She’s missing the Badge. I’m thinking a custom RevMike badge might be fun. [IMG]

    Nice Amp. Congrats!

I once owned the HRDv 410. I found that putting a passive attenuator (like the JHS Little Black Amp Box) in the efx loop helped me tame it. That volume knob is TOUCHY.

    Enjoy!

The Dr Watson Lion Tamer is also a great loop master volume. Works on the HRDlx and BD, you'd have to contact Dr. Watson to confirm it'll work with a HRDvl.

More streamlined/ergonomic if you don't run pedals in the loop. The JHS Little Black Amp Box (or the like) obviously works better if you're running pedals in the loop.

    Not affiliated, just a fan.

I have the Blues Deville 410 version, I actually offered it to @brookdalebill if he wanted to throw some money at it, to get it back in shape.
    He wanted it not?
That has to be the loudest, heaviest combo I have ever owned!!
I lent it to my Nephew, and he pulled the speakers out of it to replace them, then never did, so I replaced them with the stock speakers.
I'm selling it if you are or anybody wants to pay for the shipping:eek:
