Hey all. Didn't want to type "NAD". And new amp day was Saturday, not today. But I pulled the trigger on a 68 Custom Princeton Reverb and just had my first rehearsal with it.

I couldn't be more happy. I can dial up to that sweet spot (my main amp is a 65 Deluxe Reverb RI) without getting yelled at by everyone in the room. And for the first time ever (46 years old and 30 or so years of jamming, playing in bands, etc), I have found the joy of using the volume on the guitar rather than stomping on multiple drive pedals. I literally just had a 3 hour band practice using nothing but the Princeton and a delay pedal for some slap to thicken things up a bit. Guitar volume on 7 or so, push it up for leads, roll back during vocals and chording. It was surreal.

This amp is going to break in quickly. I love it.

Congratulations, I'd really love to get myself one of those amps.

Congtrats on the new amp. Not only the sound but just the appearance of the amp looks nice on stage.

Very nice. I too like the no drive pedal idea.

Tonight I'll post a pic. However, I will mention that it is brand new and looks just like every other brand new one on Google images. :)

Local bylaw here states that it didn't happen until pictures: a kind of quantum state Schrodinger's Cat situation

If your amp falls over in the forest at night, and there is no one there to hear it, it won't make a sound - unless there is a jpeg of it posted on here
