I finally got to unwrap my new amp. A Muchxs-build of epic (home player) proportions!

I had a BFVC that I had thought about having Eric perform his magic on, and just couldn't do it. After going back and forth umpteen billion times, Eric finally tells me he has a 71 VC chassis that he can use as a basis for a Morpheus VC!

Oh, but not just any Morpheus VC; one with a larger cab to remove any boxiness, a 12" speaker, and the Morpheus II upgrades! The way Eric describes it, this amp is a mini-twin at lower mid-control, and proceeds to become a (loud) tweed champ at higher settings! As said mid control is turned up, the B & T controls are removed from the circuit. SO, lots of levels in between to play with too...

I give you (ta-DAAA) the Peking Duck:

Nice! Looks great. Any chance you could record a few sound clips? And how do you like that George Alessandro speaker?

Beautiful looking amp, love the Bronco faceplates, Fender made a whole lot less of them vs the VC if I'm correct.

Awesome! For now I dream of my own muchxs amp, while you will play through one. Living the dream, right?

And I love the idea behind it.

Can you tell us about the amp stand? It looks like something that might work well for my Quinn SDQ.

    It's pretty close.
EDIT: Not quite as wide; Princeton is 19", mine 17"

That is an Atlas amp stand. Mine is made from Wormy Chestnut and walnut.

Josh builds masterpieces. Not inexpensive by any means, as he spends a good amount of labor, and woods are sourced from old stock.

    Wow, looks real sharp!

I have a 75 VC that's been problematic, so I've considered having it gutted and rewired.
