Ooh, ooh, count me in. :)

This was a late graduation present to myself, purchased last October. Back in high school I could play a little. I had a Squire strat, and later a Tanara Les Paul. The Squire I was never crazy about. The Tanara I held on to until 10 years or so ago. But I've always wanted a high-quality, pro-grade guitar (even though I'm only a novice player) that would last me the rest of my life and be enough guitar that I'd never get good enough to want more in a guitar.

This is definitely it, though the tinkerer in me has emerged and I've replaced the neck pickup with a Seymour Duncan Phat Cat P90, and I have a set of Fender locking tuners and a Texas Special bridge pickup on the way.

Anyway, here she is: Bessie, in 2-tone burst (ash body).

she needs a facelift. gonna give here a fancy blue pickguard and some new knobs to replace the one that jumped ship about a decade ago. change comes slowly around here, but when she rears her head, watch out.

maybe a vintage bridge too.... hmm..

A couple of week ago I sold my 09 Fender American Standard
Telecaster and I kept my Steinberger GR4. Well today that has
changed I traded my Steinberger GR4 for the Telecaster that
I sold a couple of weeks back. It was an even trade and I'm
happy to get the Telecaster back.

Last week I traded my EC Stratocaster 2013 for a 2014 Fender American
Standard Telecaster 3 Tone Sunburst. In the past I had an American Deluxe
Telecaster should have kept that guitar that I traded foe an Amp. In the end
I did not like the Amp so now I have the telecaster again that I play thru a
2009 reissue Fender Twin Reverb. Here are a couple of pictures fen14tele-amstd-3sb-mn.jpg fen14tele-amstd-3sb-mn4.jpg 12718389_1138450666187902_454726454989664256_n.jpg

The Twin Reverb is gone and I switched to a Vox AC30HW2 and for a short time
went back to the Stratocaster and I never really Bonded with it so I went back
to the Telecaster in the above post. Here is a picture of the new Amp 13876457_1224960490870252_2746833788568942476_n.jpg

Today I got back my 2013 Fender American Standard
Telecaster in (Black). I had to trade my PRS Custom 22
    and that's fine. fen13tele-amstd-bk-mn5.jpg fen13tele-amstd-bk-mn.jpg

Guess I’m back in the club with a Telecaster.

It’s not new but it’s still nice. A 2001 American Standard Telecaster in Aqua Marine.

Rocking this 2013 American Standard Telecaster for the past 5+ years. Love everything about it. I couldn’t be happier...

...although I did change the string tree to a button style one.
