I think I'm getting a Classic Vibe version (there are also Contemporary and Affinity models) even though I'm cutting my guitar numbers in half. I love the headstock too, Fender/CBS was at least being original and not ripping off Paul Bigsby

Awesome. I didn't know that these existed. I'm also a fan of the headstock shape.

I always thought it was weird how the Starcaster was just a bigger version of the headstock on the Ibanez Roadstar.

I think they look cool. And if I have the chance to try one I'll definitely do so.

Oh man that's cool. I'd love one of these, but I'm pretty much a one guitar guy these days.

I played some original Starcasters back in the day and always liked them. I have to know what the necks on these Squier ones are like.

Wish they came in black. Wish they had Bigsbys too.

I doubt I'll score one, but maybe I can rationalize it by telling myself I "need" a semi-hollow guitar with those fine Wide Range pickups...

I was a one-three guitar guy for many years. Then forums were invented :)

Walnut or blonde? In a rare event, I'm actually asking a forum for cosmetic advice lol.

I would have a great deal of difficulty choosing between the three finishes. I seem to always lean towards blonde, but the walnut and burst are very cool.

I don't care for the more modern-looking ones in ice or pelham blue and black as posted above.

I'm going with the ice blue contemporary, kind of like a poor man's David Grohl signature 335.

I ordered in walnut, I just don't like pale colored wood grain *shrugs*.

I hope they sell well. We need an alternative to the semi-hollow Epis.

The headstock, though? I always thought it looked like Donald Duck's head on a stick.

Are those Squier active pups new? Any review of them?

    You've never heard of Ibanez?

These Squires are cool too, I guess.

I've wanted one of these for years. The only thing I've disliked is the switch location, should be in the upper bought.

And all those other brands too. Lots of different brands of Semi-hollow and Hollow body guitars out there.
